Today, Evie met up with two of her Friends at Zoomars Petting Zoo, located in the quaint Los Rios Historical District in San Juan Capistrano, California. Needless to say- It was a fantastic playdate!

After paying a nominal fee to the friendly staff at the main entrance, we grabbed a couple of fresh veggie baskets and headed for the immaculately maintained Guinea pig haven. The Guinea pigs were friendly and all too eager to help themselves to Evie and her friend's fresh veggie offerings.

Balance Bike or Training Wheels? Evie's Vote- Balance Bike!

When Evie's older (much older) sisters learned to ride a bike, they learned on training wheels. At first, it was pretty simple- they jumped on and blazed around the neighborhood with minimal effort. However, when it came time to take off the extra wheels and ride on without the additional security they provided, things got pretty squirrelly...

Pedaling was simple, learning to balance was not.

So when the time came for Evie to learn to ride, she started with a balance bike instead. 

Instead of pedaling, she propelled herself along the ground quite quickly. Gaining speedy momentum, she intuitively lifted her legs off the ground...And voila! Evie was balancing in real time motion just like she would with a pedal bike! 

Within two weeks, the most complicated part of riding a bike--balancing was a breeze for Evie! She was ready for a regular pedal bike! 

Evie's bike model is 'Schwinn' Fern. It has an adjustable seat that keeps up with her growth and a high end build. It was purchased on sale for $60 at Performance Bike in Laguna Niguel, California (Orange County).

Money Saving Tip- Buy and resell it on Craig's List! Balance bikes are a quick transition tool, so they are a high turn over item! Since it is in essentially perfect condition, Evie's bike will sell for the same price we purchased it for!

Evie's Experience Review- 10 out of 10 stars
If you visit the Happiest Place on Earth, beginning your magical day at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is an absolute must!  Located just inside the main enterance of Cinderella's castle, the BBB is a one stop, royal transformation makeover shop for children ages 3 and older. 

 Make an appointment or do what we did and do a walk-in. BBB offers a variety of Princess and Knight Packages at different price points (link below). Evie chose the bling-bling *Disney's Cinderella/Fairytale Princess Castle Package which included~

A dress of her choice, accessories, makeup, glitter nail polish, a photo shoot, a private meeting with the Disney Princesses and a princess gift backpack. 

Evie's experience was absolutely Enchanted. She was doted on by the Fairy Godmother's in Training. It made for the best day ever at Disneyland. She was treated like a princess every where she went. We photojournaled her experience below.

With her special back pack of goodies that came with her Royal Treatment Make-Over, Evie's FGMIT escorted Evie to the front of the line to for her private meeting with some of the top Disney Princesses!

She met Snow White.

She met Belle who signed an autograph book we purchased in the BBB. Each page  is double sided. One side is for autographs and the other has a slot to put pictures in that you take with the characters. It is the perfect keepsake!
